With a background in luxury marketing, I was excited to help launch a new high-end yacht charter business in Charleston. I came on board in early 2023, just as Lady Sadie was freshly refurbished and the pressure was on to bring the business to life fast.
Initially brought on to lead the design and development of a website to showcase the yacht, I was later asked to craft a full-scale strategy to launch and grow the Charleston Luxury Yacht Charters business—leveraging my extensive experience in luxury branding.

A Powerful & Engaging Online Presence
Drawing on my experience in luxury brand marketing, I crafted and implemented a high-impact strategy to drive both the launch and sustained growth of the business. This included targeted paid social media campaigns on Instagram and Facebook, ensuring our message reached the most relevant and discerning audiences.
To complement the organic and social efforts, I developed a Google Ads strategy tailored to two distinct markets. One campaign targeted the Charleston area using search and display ads to reach local clientele, while the second was designed to attract regional and national travelers seeking Charleston’s premier yacht charter experience.
Building an Instagram Community Around Lady Sadie
Experience showed that Instagram is the most effective platform for generating excitement and building community around high-end experiences like Lady Sadie. In Charleston, this proved especially true—frequent, engaging content sparked buzz and nearly viral traction, driving strong visibility and audience engagement. That momentum remained consistent throughout my time on the project, lasting through September 2024.

Engaging Content
To keep momentum and grow Lady Sadie’s Instagram following, consistently posting engaging content was key. Short-form videos—reels, stories, and shorts—captured charters and events aboard the yacht.
The most engaging clips gave a behind-the-scenes look, building excitement and connection. We also used the best-performing videos as boosted ads, extending their reach and driving even more visibility, interest, and bookings.
CRM Integration as a Booking Platform
We started with a booking plugin but quickly realized the process needed to be more personalized—group size, catering, and custom itineraries varied too much.
To streamline things, I set up a one-click system to funnel Instagram Ad inquiries directly to the team, making it easy to track and respond quickly.
Having previously set up a custom HubSpot booking system for a luxury hotel, I knew it was the right fit. It gave the Lady Sadie team an easy, efficient way to manage inquiries and respond quickly.

This project remains one of my most memorable. It was both challenging and deeply rewarding—launching a new business from the ground up, building every marketing channel from scratch, and making strategic decisions that directly fueled engagement, bookings, and revenue growth. Seeing the momentum build and knowing the strategy was working made it an incredibly exciting journey.
